My Friends

Friends are sunshine in the day,

They laugh and smile while we all play.

They share their toys, they help me too,

And cheer me on in all I do.

We run and jump, we sing with glee,

As happy as good friends can be.

If I am sad, they stay nearby,

And wipe the teardrops when I cry.

A kindly word, a helping hand,

Makes friendship strong and always grand.

I’m thankful for my friends so true,

For every day feels bright and new.
