I packed my bag at break of day,
Adventure called — I went my way.
Mountains high and rivers wide,
So many places left to ride.
I walked through forests green and tall,
Heard ocean waves and seagulls call.
I tasted food from lands afar,
And wished upon a shining star.
New friends I met in every town,
Some wore smiles, some wore a crown.
Different languages, songs, and art,
Each one touched my curious heart.
Travelling teaches, day by day,
The world is bigger than we say.
With every road and path I see,
The world becomes a part of me.
